From the side, the Nemesia floribunda flower shows the central pair of lobes in its upper lip forward, ahead of the laterals, also forward leaning. They are straight, while the outer pair curve back. The yellow, basal patch on the upper lip is restricted to the inner pair, while the dark lines occur more widely, also on the lateral lobe in picture.

The yellow spur at the back of the lower lip tapers to its tip, triangular in the lateral view. Slight undulations and scallops are visible on some lobe tips.

The narrow, sepal lobes have bulging midribs and out-curved tips, their blades faintly hairy, as is the elegantly curved pedicel (Moriarty, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
