Old and young Oedera multipunctata flowerheads occur together in the small groups found at stem-tips, their flowering somewhat sequenced.
The cylindrical disc floret corollas end in five short, angular petal lobes that spread or recurve. Floral parts can be seen protruding from disc floret tubes as well as from the channelled ray floret bases along the perimeters of the capitula or heads. There are stigmas and anthers positioned to be touched by visiting insects, the result often enough fertilisation (Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; Manning, 2007; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist; https://keyserver.lucidcentral.org).
