There is eye-catching colour in the loose umbels of the two to eight Nerine humilis flowers forming each inflorescence. Growing at the tips of slender scapes the massed tepal colouring appears to dominate the current pollination trade on this mountain slope. The flowers can be white or any of several shades of pink, darker striped down the tepal centre, a flower usually about 3 cm long.

The naked scapes are green or slightly reddish, the pedicels of the flowers even redder. The bloomtime absence of leaves is notable (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
