Moraea ramosissima wavy tepals

Moraea ramosissima tepals may be wavy, their yellow colouring very bright. The outwardly angled style branches obscuring the stamens are similarly coloured. Corolla diameter is about 3,5 cm.

Flowering happens from before midspring to early summer. The plant only flowers in the first year after fire. A flower lasts only through the sunnier hours of one day (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; Andrew, 2017; iNaturalist).
