Oxalis flava var. flava leaves

The deciduous leaves of Oxalis flava var. flava grow in a basal tuft on stalks of 2 cm to 6 cm, often flourishing after the flowering. There are large brown stipules.

Every leaf is divided into two to twelve narrowly oblong leaflets with rounded tips, sometimes folded along their pale midribs or channelled and sickle-shaped. Leaflet blades are grey-green, often hairless and leathery (Manning, 2007; Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
