There are 15 stamens in a Monsonia crassicaulis flower, as in all Monsonia flowers. In picture they dominate in groups of three during this early stage in the flower centre. The style is not yet fully developed, still short in their midst.
The oblong anthers are creamy yellow here, attached in the centre of their backs and appearing balanced on the filament tips (Van Rooyen and Van Rooyen, 2019; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
