Similar to forensic photography used on the corpses of murder victims, there is no limit, no deterrent from recording the most intimate details accompanied by bold discussion for ensuring full disclosure, pursuing all items of interest.
This is not very different from what medical science does about patient anatomy, but that happens in closed circles among professionals with appropriate care to objective scientific context and propriety.
