The flowering Pelargonium abrotanifolium branch shows three-flowered inflorescences emerging on green peduncles from among the feathery leaves. The pedicels tend towards a mixture of green and reddish.

The green buds have cone-shaped tips that may have given weaponry designers ideas. The upper petals emphasise their upper status in the way they rise together before splitting. Lower petals spread, also laterally (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
