The Pelargonium tricolor inflorescence is a small pseudo-umbel bearing two to four flowers. The pedicels are long, straight and hairy, joining the peduncle where tiny bracts from the bud days persist.

The plants may be floriferous in season after fire, bearing numerous pseudo-umbels (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Moriarty, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
