Pelargonium peltatum no zonal leaf markings

Pelargonium peltatum leaves do not always have zonal leaf markings. The markings are a population dependent characteristic, more common in garden hybrids than in wild populations. Staring at the leaf intently creates the sensation that elusive markings are lurking there, semi-visible.

The leaf folds radiating from the base continue straight into the lobe tips, probably coinciding with veins. The glossy green blade surface is between fleshy and leathery, a bit of both. The stalk is long.
