Pelargonium quercifolium leaf hairiness seems to vary, possibly diminishing pretty early. Leaf colouring starts off greener to yellower in picture. The hairs on the coarsely veined, somewhat quilted blades don’t seem to quite disappear, but the longer ones may be lost. Only some of the hairs on the plant are glandular, thought to be more prevalent on young leaves, upper surfaces, leaf margins and petioles (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist; https://opus.sanbi.org).
