    The purple Pelargonium echinatum petals spread, their tips variably rounded, square or notched. The two larger, upper petals have dark markings in the centre and at the base. The three lower ones are smaller and unmarked on this plant.

    Some slight lobes and scallops are present on the margins of the dull blue-grey leaves. The blades are faintly folded along veins to the base.

    The plant was seen west of Springbok in August (Le Roux, et al, 2005).
