Pelargonium praemorsum subsp. praemorsum flowers grow solitary or in pairs from stem-tips on long reddish stalks. The five calyx lobes are about 12 mm long, narrow, acutely pointed and faintly hairy. The large, cream or white flowers are variable in size, from 3 cm to 5 cm in diameter. The maroon line markings radiating from the base branch a little and reach over halfway to the tips of the upper petal pair.

Flowering happens from late winter to mid-autumn. The photo was taken in August at Naries.

This plant is palatable, even sought after by game and stock (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; www.llifle.com; iNaturalist).
