The fine divisions in the narrow Paranomus reflexus leaves in the photo resemble those of Serruria leaves.
Long petioles ascend along the hairy, young, green stem in the photo. The hairless leaf sections become nearly equally long, the central ones the longest, resulting in an elegantly slender fan-shape.
Leaf colour is pale to yellowish green here, the red tips not so clear to see. A leaf may reach 8 cm in length (Matthews and Carter, 1993; Eliovson, 1983).
