In open Paranomus bracteolaris florets the four perianth segments curve away from the erect, exposed style tipped with the pollen presenter, short, thick and whitish.

The inside surfaces of the perianth segments are pink-purple, the style a deeper purple colour, darker near its tip. A floret is about 14 mm long. It is faintly scented (Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
