Struthiola myrsinites

The flowers of Struthiola myrsinites may be white or pale pink, while the unopened buds are pale to bright pink. There are four sepals joined in a long cylindrical tube, appearing more prominent than the eight narrow petal-like scales semi-erect above them. Flowering may occur at any time of the year.

The hairless leaves grow in opposite pairs, are narrowly elliptic with pointed tips. Leaves may spread or fold onto the stem. They are blue-green in colour, young leaves yellowish green (Bean and Johns, 2005; Manning, 2007).
