Struthiola striata is a small shrub only found in limited coastal areas of the Western and Eastern Cape. The young branches are hairy, the small leaves overlapping in neat rows.

The small flowers, white, cream, yellow or pink in colour, have long thin tubes ending in four arrow-shaped petal lobes.

The specimen in picture was photographed between Rooi-els and Gordon’s Bay.
