The Romulea kamisensis habitat is sandy loam soil in rock crevices among the Namaqualand Klipkoppe.
The situation of the plants growing in small rock crevices seems fairly common, judging from the photos of these plants presented on iNaturalist. They do not appear to suffer in these growing conditions (Grenier, 2019; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
