The very dark flowers of Quaqua ramosa grow in dense, sessile clusters scattered along the upper parts of the stems.
A flower has semi-erect, narrow, petal lobes folded almost double longitudinally, finger-like and pointed. The dark maroon corolla colouring contrasts spectacularly against the dull stems, as well as against the ambient colours of the terrain. There are small white coronas in the flower centres (White and Sloane, 1937; iNaturalist).
