    The yellow tips of Rabiea albinota leaves say something similar as brown leaves, although the pigmentation in some of these is unusual. Chlorophyll reduction heralds slower metabolic action, resulting in conservation of water and energy. Older leaf pairs may desiccate or collapse, while the central meristem remains protected near the developing capsule.
