Sparaxis roxburghii tepal curvature

If tepal curving in a Sparaxis roxburghii flower was a competition, the lower lateral pair would have won. Their flanks strongly up, and the tips strongly down with an opposite bend in the basal parts, the tepals are sure to lead pollinators up garden, or rather corolla paths in search of food into pollination duties.

Stamens and style are presented overhead in plain sight, sure to be spotted and hopefully touched by at least some visitors (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
