The outer tepal surfaces of the Sparaxis grandiflora subsp. fimbriata flowers shown here are purplish in colour. A dark, longitudinal line running along the central axis of the tepal is extended laterally in variable, softer shades, fading to white. The insides of the corollas are white.

Some slightly sickle-shaped leaves are present (iNaturalist; iSpot; www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
