Searsia angustifolia leaves have long petioles of up to 2 cm, while the petiolules, stalks of the three individual leaflets are short to barely present. A faint shine is visible on the pointed leaflet upper surfaces, receiving sunlight in the photo. Most leaflets ascend to their tips here.

Leaflet surfaces tend to bulge slightly next to their midribs, the lateral veins and rolled under margins. Hairiness is not visible here, occurs in short hairs only on the lower surfaces. The terminal leaflet is biggest of the three, becoming 2,5 cm to 8,5 cm long and 0,5 cm to 2 cm wide.

Pale creamy green fruits are present in dense clusters (Bean and Johns, 2005; Coates Palgrave, 2002; iNaturalist; iSpot).
