The branched Senecio cinerascens inflorescences are about flat-topped corymbs, presented well above the grey foliage.
The soft shrub may become as wide as it is tall, the stems rod-like and often straight. The spreading branches become woody low down where the leaves not receiving sunlight lose their functionality and drop off (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning, 2009; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
