    The Senecio cinerascens leaves scattered along the stems are whitish and woolly from soft, short hairs. The hairs are mostly on the lower surfaces, the upper ones sometimes about hairless.

    The lobe tips are more rounded than pointed but variable in shape and sometimes twisted. There are about six lobes on each side of the midrib on a mature leaf (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning, 2009; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
