The lateral veins and lobes alternate on this Solanum linnaeanum leaf. On some leaves the veins and lobes are semi-opposite to opposite. The gaps between lobes are rounded similarly to the lobes themselves.

The blades are sometimes sparsely hairy, while on some plants smooth. Hairs on the lower surfaces may split into star-shapes. The blades often curve or fold upwards (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Privett and Lutzeyer, 2010; iNaturalist).
