    This Tetragonia reduplicata plant has few erect, straight branches with colouring undecided between green and faintly red. The lanceolate, pointed leaves are pale blue-green. The plant is growing vigorously in a spring-flowered meadow in the Biedouw Valley

    The stalked buds are about spherical, growing from leaf axils and stem-tips. They also vary in colour between green and red with some being yellowish (iNaturalist).
