Tetragonia reduplicata leaves

    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The lance-shaped to narrowly arrow-shaped Tetragonia reduplicata leaves are short-stalked and acutely point-tipped.

The thickly fleshy to thinly succulent blades are convex on top. A creamy yellow midrib in picture is prominent on the lower surface between the down-turned margins in the lower blade part, invisible near its flat tip.

The leaves may be similar to those of T. arbuscula also occurring in the Biedouw Valley where the photo was taken (iNaturalist; http://redlist.sanbi).
