The pale green leaves of Ursinia cakilefolia are finely twice-divided, soft and fleshy, reminding of carrot leaves. The lobes have acutely pointed tips and are slightly channelled in the centre. Tiny mucros are present on most lobe tips in picture. The leaves become 2 cm to 5 cm long (Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
