Tritoniopsis parviflora nearly there

This young Tritoniopsis parviflora flower nearing its blossoming peak shows a delicate fleshy texture of glistening surface cells. The dorsal tepal nods deeply, the upper laterals are up as if in resignation. The dark markings on the lower (three) tepals that are partly maroon, partly black may sometimes also be brown.

The upper tepal shelters the stamens and style under its still hooded tip. Some tepal tips in picture have a dark red hue on their inside surfaces (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
