These green Viscum continuum stems bear short-stalked green fruits. They were seen near Oudtshoorn during June. Much 90˚ branching occurs in the intricate tangle of mainly smooth stems.

It takes young stems long to reach the thickness of old ones. New growth on the beginning of a branch, or a stem-tip, starts with tiny, rounded, brown-tipped bulges (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Shearing and Van Heerden, 2008; iNaturalist).
