    This hairy Trachyandra flower was photographed in the Biedouw Valley. The stems are covered in many white hairs of uneven length. The hairiness continues on the pedicels as well as on the brown stripes on the outsides of the tepals (Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
