    The stalked fruit capsules of Trachyandra ciliata retain the long styles at their tips for some time. Here the green fruits showing dark, indented lines where the segments meet, have brown styles as well as some perianth remains.

    The pedicels ascend close to the stem, keeping the unripe fruits together at this stage (Privett and Lutzeyer, 2010; Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; iNaturalist).
