The flower of this broad and prostrate-leaved Trachyandra of the Overberg is white and star-like with spreading tepals, each with a distinct brown line down the centre that does not quite reach the tepal tip. The inner three tepals are broader with rounded tips, the outer, narrower ones square-tipped and somewhat folded at their tips.
A short, perpendicular, yellow-brown line crosses the longitudinal brown one near its base. The style is longer than the stamens. The oblong, dull yellow anthers have slits down the centre, the filaments white (Manning, 2009; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iSpot; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
