Numerous Brunia noduliflora florets form each spherical head that is usually 2 cm in diameter when the stamens are extended. The white-woolly heads are arranged in loose clusters.
The five sepals of each floret are free, the corolla white to cream and the five petals narrow. The five stamens, dramatically longer than the petals, are unequal in length. The ovary is two-chambered, two styles protruding from it (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000).
