Old Bulbinella cauda-felis flowers have their ovaries turned brown and bulging wider than in their green days. Anther yellow is giving way to pale brown but not all flowers in picture are done with stamen and style functionality yet.

The corolla cups are broadly open although the tepals no longer spread as energetically as when they first opened. The stamens also spread, slightly taller than the tepal tips.

So, there’s nothing amiss with floral hospitality to pollinators here. Yet, one of the two beetles partly visible in picture is busy below the open flowers, possibly making mischief tasting floral parts unrelated to the conventions of the pollination ritual (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
