The pattern of Brunsvigia radulosa flower opening is lowermost buds first, the upper ones waiting their turn. The pedicel elongation seems to lag a bit behind that of the bud perianths.
The thickening below the perianths where the inferior ovaries assume their triangular three-segmented shape, accommodating three-locular seed-producing facilities, is well underway even in the shorter buds.
Tepal tips of some open flowers in picture are recurving, on others not yet. There is a dull coloured central tepal stripe present on the open flowers here (Duncan, et al, 2016; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org).
