Dimorphotheca cuneata, the bosmargriet, may flower profusely when conditions allow. The ring of white ray florets spread around compact central discs comprising numerous tiny florets. The disc florets are tubular and five-lobed, yellow when open and dark in bud. Opening starts along the perimeter of the discs (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2009; iNaturalist).
