Some leaf margins at this Dimorphotheca sinuata stem-tip have longer hairs than others, or those on the blade surfaces. Hairiness on the reddish stems is even finer and shorter.
The leaves taper at the base to a narrow part, hardly a petiole or revise the concept of petiole. Difficult to see whether any margin here manages a third tooth between tip and base (Manning, 2009; Eliovson, 1990; iNaturalist).
