    The succulent leaves of Delosperma peersii are narrowly three-angled with slightly bulging sides and blunt, sometimes reddish tips. The recurving leaf tip sometimes has a tiny, protruding mucro. The leaves are bright green, growing decussate in opposite pairs and about 15 mm long.

    Many new branchlets are starting from leaf axils in the photo. The species is palatable to stock (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Smith, et al, 1998; iNaturalist).
