Plentiful daisies, Albuca and much more adorn the outskirts of some Namaqualand towns in season. Some other towns have different vegetation attractive in season making them special.

We can’t all live there. Or can we? Most of us can contribute to the appearance of our local environment. Avoiding damage to indigenous vegetation, removing rubbish or refraining from dumping it where we live is a start. Something pretty might grow there, will grow there if given a chance. It may not be Eden of old, but good enough to become special in its own way, give character to the neighbourhood. In time make people proud. And attentive to nature.

Planting one tree, helping one chosen plant grow, lifts the spirit. Peoples lives improve from inspiring environments. Nature is an inspiring environment, no matter the climate.
