Pelargonium cordifolium was found flowering on a Langkloof mountain slope in January. This is the end of the blooming season of this plant, starting in winter and peaking in early spring.

The flowers are pink in various shades, from quite pale or about white as the one in picture. Purple line markings occur on the recurving upper petals. The three lower petals are unmarked, narrow and straight.

The plants are sometimes seen in forests. This one was successful in fynbos (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
