The flowers of Albuca rupestris face upwards and are sweetly scented. They are borne in flat-topped racemes on long, pale-green stalks that stand erect. The tepals are yellow with green bands positioned longitudinally along the tepal centres. Tepals are thick-textured and spread obliquely outwards, but curve inwards slightly in shape.

The fruit is a three-lobed capsule; the seeds are small, black and shiny (iSpot; Wikipedia).
