The inflorescence of Aloe marlothii may be a large structure. The single panicle produced on one stem may comprise up to 30 racemes, reaching up to 80 cm above the leaf rosette.
The plant in picture has a long way to go before it may be counted in the big league of the species, but already has at least ten racemes that spread widely over the leaves. This yellow flowering form tinged with orange was seen in the Sabie region (Van Wyk and Smith, 2003; Reynolds, 1974; iNaturalist).
