    The silvery grey and woolly leaves of Helichrysum acrophilum are stalkless, spiralling and ascending up the stems. They are up to 15 mm long and variable in width, here quite narrow and acutely pointed or spoon-shaped and folded in.

    Leaves on young stems may be spaced sparsely, while old stems tend to grow small side-shoots that are densely leaved (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1988; iNaturalist; https://keys.lucidcentral.org).
