This succulent-leaf Hermannia species possibly to be called Hermannia orgasmiodorata once publication formalities are completed, bears pale beige flowers. The spirally twisted petals, widened and rounded at their tips allow for a narrow, tunnel-like mouth through which pollinators can gain access.
The stamens and style are included in the corolla. There are five stamens opposite the petals. Five hairy sepal lobes cover the slightly bulging back end of the corolla (David Gwynne-Evans, personal communication, 2022).
