The Habenaria dives inflorescence is erect and dense, about 30 cm long. The fleshy, pale green bracts, each subtending a flower, are erect, acutely pointed and ridged as are the larger leaves below. The bracts become about 1,5 cm long.

The lip lobes and the spur are white near the base, green towards their tips. The mid-lobe of the lip is longer than the other flower segments in picture (Pooley, 1998).
