In this Holothrix filicornis inflorescence the dark pointed, sepals of the flowers are clearly visible among all the white petal threads. The sepals are short, ovately shaped and acutely pointed.

Lip and petal lobes are thin, pointing down and up respectively, although each lobe tends to have a will of its own as far as direction and style of bending and curving are concerned.

The spurs are thicker, longer and more graceful in their curvature than the multitude of thin perianth lobes, their cylindrical bodies white.

The purple of the ovaries is darker here than the pale translucence displayed by the stem of the flower spike (Williamson, 2010).
