The leaves of Holothrix incurva are broadly ovate, tapering to pointed tips. Leaf surfaces are pale green and hairy. The two leaves are borne at ground level, overlapping each other, pointing in opposite directions.

The hairy, erect scape emerging from between the leaves has no stem leaves, although ovate, pointed bracts with ciliate margins subtend the flowers (iNaturalist; iSpot; www.africanorchids.dk; www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
