Holothrix secunda white flowers

This Holothrix secunda plant bears white flowers in a sparsely flowered or lax inflorescence.

The two lateral petals, angled upwards, are thin and white, tapering slightly towards their tips. Below them the five lip lobes pointing downwards are similar, but linear and thread-like, not tapering. Short spurs can be seen behind some of the perianths, curving down slightly near the (longer) green ovaries.

This is said to be a species lacking floral bracts, but it does seem as if some flowers in the photo have small, pointed bracts at the ovary bases (Liltved and Johnson, 2012; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
